Woodchuck in the Bed

Forget "Monkeys on the Bed"--it is now Woodchucks-In-The-Bed.

I thought it was kind of cute when we found her standing up in the crib. She thought it was hilarious and was so proud of herself. I snapped a picture then called J in to the nursery so that he could drop the crib.

End of story, right? Not so much since there are always two sides to every story.

Side one is pictured above. Side two, below:

And, that's not all. Oh no. C can still stand up in her crib, therefore she can still teethe on the rails. Awesome.

So, off to Etsy I went. Seems like it is a common problem as Etsians have come up with many solutions. I think I'm going to have to buck up and buy this one to save poor C's bed from further distress. At least it matches her bedding.

And finally, I leave you with a video of C's ever-progressing walking skills. She's come a long way from last time.

Oh and now I am really feeling awful about the things Baby Sister cannot do - your little one only 18 days older than her and she cannot even crawl well yet!!! How did you get your little one to get going?

J (aka peanut) started doing the same thing. Stinker. I didn't know I gave birth to a beaver... did you?
I went to Joanne's and bought some fleece to make my own little cover dealio and it seems to be doing the trick. He's gotta gnaw through two things of fleece before he gets to the wood!

What a great idea! I'll have to remember that for later.

Ya know that she has to actually chew her little teeth out, right? What's a girl to do?

She is adorable. And I do love your crib and crib set. My crib has this special teething rail made of transparent plastic. I don't know if it will do the trick as my daughter didn't start chewing on it yet. She is just now learning to stand up and doesn't seem to care about chewing on the crib yet.
