W.o.G. Wednesday: Ecclesaistes 4: 9-12

{Special Note: oh my! I pre-posted my WoG WEDNESDAY post 2 weeks ago...and posted it TODAY...Oh well! Tutorial TUESDAY will be tomorrow!}

Last Sunday J and I celebrated 6 years of marriage.

I thought it would be fun to share with you the passage from the Bible that my cousin, Stephanie, read at our wedding...

Ecclesaistes 4:9-12

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

10 If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!

11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?

12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

We particularly liked "A cord of three strands is not easily broken", symbolizing the two of us bound by God. With His help and Grace and Love, we know we can make it through the many challenges and rewards of marriage!

That is such a great verse. I'm so happy that you and J got to spend a good weekend together! Oh, and I was a little worried there that the bottle switching might have involved some mommy's milk...I mean, I KNOW she's your sister...but REALLY. haha!
