One of my favorite things to do every day is check my mail. There is something thrilling about walking down my apartment hallway with C to check and see what goodies might be hiding in our mailbox.
When we go on vacation, I always stop our mail if we will be away for more than two days. So, it goes without saying that the day the post officer drops off our mail is incredibly thrilling for me (oh yes, the simple pleasures of life!). If you ever get lonely and want some mail, you should try stopping your mail for a week. When it arrives all bundled up at your door it is like a landfall of happiness!
Or maybe I'm just weird.
Anyway, when our mail came yesterday, i received two gifts that I won on other blogs. Both of them were made by fabulous Etsians. I immediately put them to use. When we were stuck in the car waiting for a thunderstorm to pass before going to Whole Foods, I decided to snap a few pictures of them in action. The pictures definitely don't do either item justice (taken on my iPhone) so be sure to check out the real deal on their respective Etsy stores!
