i loved dolls. especially cabbage patch dolls and my child <---remember that one!
I also loved dolls, but I don't remember ever having a specific lovey. Both of my girls have them. My older daughter has a blankie and my younger daughter has to have her dolls.
OMG I loved the Mutsy puppies too. My great aunt had one and I just HAD to have one. She loved hers so much she was buried with it, and I still have mine. It's gone around the world with me.
When I was little, I loved my blue blankey. It was a small square blanket with satin on the edges. I'd love the green frog for my little guy!

My son's current fav. is his pink teddy, I would love to have the green frog for him.
baby alive was my fave until my cousin broke her, and then it was a calico kitty stuffy my grandparents gave me
I was a Cabbage Patch Kid girl. My dad even had one made for me for my first birthday that was bigger than me! I still have her and if I have a little girl I will pass that keepsake on to her. :) (Gotta love yarn for hair, ya know!)
Oh yeah, I also loved my "Lolly Dolly". I don't know if that is the formal name for it, but it was a Fisher Price, pink & white gingham doll with a rattle inside. I still have her too and she is in Connor's toy box, but my mom found a current "boy" version for him that he enjoys too.
This is so great! When I was 2 I got a stuffed teddy bear that was just as big as I was. I'm almost 28 now....and still sleep with 'Ted'. He's had a rough life, but I just can't give him up.

I had a doll I called "honey". I took her with me EVERYWHERE. I still have her, but she's pretty worn out. I'm surprised I liked her so much since she's made out of a plastic head (not very soft to cuddle). Thanks for the lotto!

i cant believe you love a muttsy too!!!!!!
When I was 5 My mom had a brain stem aneurysm after giving birth to my baby sister. I lived with my grandma for a year. For Christmas the family got me a boy cabbage patch doll. Rory was my everything for many years afterwards. He ended up going through 3 bodies (that my aunt sewed) and even has a tattoo birthmark on his head. lol
When I was pregnant with my 2nd child I pulled him out to get my son ready to be a big brother. He so wasn't intreasted in the doll as he always kept bringing it to my room to sleep. 5 days after my daughter arrived she passed away due to a CHD. On one of my hard nights I picked up my little Rory and hugged him tight again. It didn't fix anything but for a moment brought me comfort again.
As I was pregnant with my 2nd son I brought the doll out again for my oldest. This time he really grew to care for the doll. He still plays with him from time to time when his little brother is sleeping and he gets lonesome for a playmate. It's really sweet.
