Thanks to all who took my survey and were kind enough to leave comments. I keep thinking that it would be so fun to come back to this blog. I miss it and I miss the schedule it gave me.

Thankfully, God answered my prayer for wisdom on re-opening this blog--the lack of survey responses and comments clearly told me that this blog is over...for now.

Thanks to all of you who left encouraging comments on my last post. Sadly, we are NOT in Florida for a real "vacation" but are here to help support my Grandma while my Grandpa is in Hospice.

At least we can say this: the babes are having fun hanging out with our (younger) cousins in the pool.

Who Loves Etsy?

{looks around...hands waving everywhere! who doesn't love Etsy?}

A while ago, when I was hosting my 100th post giveaway, I was looking at other Etsy contests and came across this Etsy Forum entitled "Promotions". I found so many fun giveaways it was amazing!

I only looked at the first page before I became overwhelmed with all the giveaways. On the first page, however, was this lovely new store called Allyjoy. She was giving away a jewelery item of your choice on her blog. Always a sucker for anything that is pearl-like, I fell in love with these earrings:

Sadly for Allyson but happily for me, I was the only entrant! Whic means, I won! yay! I can't wait to get them and wear them. They'll probably become my new earring of choice as my last pearl earrings went by the wayside.

So, if you are looking for something fun to win off Etsy, make sure you periodically check the Promotions forum--you never know what you might win!

I learned my lesson about comments--from now on, hopefully they will all be numbered. Despite my love of Excel spreadsheets, it took me forever to number all of your comments! It did force me to look at every comment, though, so now I feel like I got to know you all, too.
